1. Purpose
These Terms of use govern access to and use of the website https://metabolis.chtara.com and the Metabolis client area, published by [to be completed: Company name or name of the sole trader (LEGAL_COMPANY_NAME)]. Browsing the Site implies acceptance of these terms for its public parts; creating an account requires accepting them.
2. Access
The Site is free to access; the client area is reserved for clients who have bought an offer and for the partner invited under a couple offer. Connection and equipment costs are borne by the user. Metabolis may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or security, keeping the interruption as short as possible.
3. Account
- The account is personal and reserved for adults. The user provides accurate information and keeps it up to date.
- The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and undertakes not to share their access. Any suspicious use must be reported without delay to [to be completed: Customer service e-mail (LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL)].
- The user can export their data or request the erasure of their account from the “Privacy” section of their area; the consequences for the data are described in the Privacy policy and, for ongoing services, in the Terms of sale.
4. Messaging with your nutrition advisor
- The messaging is intended for exchanges about the nutritional support. It is not an emergency service: in case of a worrying symptom, contact your doctor, 15 or 112.
- Answers are given on working days, as soon as possible.
- After the end of the Programme, messaging stays open 30 days, then becomes read-only.
- Messages and attachments are kept for the periods set out in the Privacy policy.
5. Conduct
The user undertakes not to:
- make insulting, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing or threatening remarks;
- send unlawful content, viruses or files infringing third-party rights;
- send data about a third party without their consent (except information useful for the couple offer, with the partner’s consent);
- try to access another user’s data or undermine the security of the Site;
- extract, copy or distribute the content of the Site or the client area.
In the event of a breach, Metabolis may, after a warning except in an emergency, suspend access under article 11.2 of the Terms of sale.
6. Content uploaded by the user
The user remains the owner of the content they upload (messages, photos, documents). They authorise Metabolis to host and consult it solely for their support. No content is published or used for promotional purposes without the user’s written, specific and revocable consent.
7. Metabolis content
The content of the Site (articles, menus, recipes, guides) is general information and is not medical advice: it does not replace medical advice or medical follow-up; consult your doctor. It is protected by copyright (see the Legal notice).
8. Links
Links to third-party sites (social networks, video conferencing tool, Stripe) lead to services governed by their own terms.
9. Reporting

10. Personal data and cookies

11. Changes
Metabolis may change these Terms of use. Any substantial change is notified to the user by e-mail or in their client area before it takes effect; it does not apply to ongoing Programmes without the Client’s consent. If the Client refuses it, they may end their Programme and obtain a refund of the share of the price corresponding to the remaining period, calculated pro rata temporis.
12. Governing law
Governing law: the law set out in article 17 of the Terms of sale, subject to the more protective mandatory provisions of the consumer’s country of residence; complaints, dispute resolution and jurisdiction: articles 16 and 17 of the Terms of sale.
